“We’re sorry” – Majority Leader apologises to Ghanaians over fight in Parliament

Ghanaian Majority Leader cum Minister for Parliamentary Affairs (MoPA), Mr. Osei Kyei-Mensah-Bonsu has apologized to Ghanaians on behalf of the members of Parliament for the fight in Parliament.
On Monday, December 20, 2021, a great misunderstanding erupted in Parliament which resulted in a massive fight over the E-levy bill.
The Majority voiced out that, “This is a very shameful and embarrassing moment for us in Parliament. I think all of us in Parliament must be bowing down our heads in shame”
“The Parliament of Ghana has not witnessed such bestiality before. Do we want to inflict carnage in Parliament or do we desire the title honourable members”,
He continued that, the adjournment of the house would bring some peace and refreshment between the two divisions.
Mr. Kyei -Mensah-Bonsu revealed that the budget has been passed so Ghanaians should disregard any information indicating that there was no budget.
