Bulldog has stated that the finest musical group he handled as an Artiste Manager was the legendary group VIP, now VVIP.
The CEO of Bulhaus Music and current manager of Shatta Wale, whose actual name is Lawrence Asiamah Hanson, said that he felt so at ease with the group at one time that he felt like the trio’s fourth member.
Recently speaking on Hitz FM about this topic, the outspoken music producer and frequent panelist on United Showbiz on United Television (UTV) said that the Nima-based trio comprised of Promzy (now ex-member), Zeal, and Prodigal was one of the greatest musical talents he has ever handled.
“Collaborating with them has been a highlight of my work as an artist management. Prodigal summoned me for a meeting with the rest of the team and informed me that they wanted to work with me,” he said to Andy Dosty, presenter of Daybreak hitz.
“Working with them is one of the highest points in my career as an artist manager. Prodigal called me for a meeting with the rest of the team and said they wanted to work with me,” he told the host of Daybreak hitz, Andy Dosty. He said that he had practically become a fourth member of the group, earning 25% of anything they earned. The trio, which is now known as VVIP, is comprised of Zeal, Prodigal, and hiplife Reggie Rockstone, who joined the group after the departure of the loud Promzy.
Originally, VIP was a five-member rap/hiplife group comprised of founding fathers Bone and Friction, who left the group before the group achieved widespread recognition and garnered several honors both in and outside Ghana.
