Uber drivers to park their vehicles after 9 pm over Alleged murder of their colleague

Uber drivers have announced that they are going to stop working after 9 pm today after the death of one of their colleagues.

Mr. Okyere Boateng was a bolt driver and also a Navy Officer who was murdered by three students identified as Patrick Baidoo 18, Joseph Lord Nii Agyei 17, and Adult Eshun 18.

The three students have been remanded by her Lordship Mrs. Catherine Obiri Addo who presided over the District Court in Sekondi.

These students have been charged for setting a bolt driver ablaze so some Uber drivers have alarmed the public that due to their safety, they will park their vehicles after 9 pm.

According to the students, there were trying to steal the vehicle of the bolt driver and he resisted it so they poured fuel on him and burnt him alive.

The case was adjourned to 14th, January 2022 after the prosecutor Inspector, Jenner Achempong prayed with the court to give some time for further investigation.
