Nigerian media personality, Suave has reiterated how Ghanaians don’t celebrate their own as he made emphasis on Africa’s best rapper, Sarkodie.
Sarkodie is currently on a media tour in the green-white flag land to promote his just-released “No Pressure” album and the popular assertion that Ghanaians don’t celebrate their own resurfaced during his conversation with a presenter.
Rapper in an interview on Lagos-based media giant, Beat FM, the host Suave hinted that the sensational rapper doesn’t get enough credit as he’s supposed to get as he claimed he doesn’t know if that’s how the Ghana music industry has been structured.
Suave emphasized that the things Sarkodie has done with regards to putting Ghana on the map from his BET achievement to many others he doesn’t think he gets credit enough because with Nigerians they celebrate their own.
Meanwhile, South African rapper Cassper Nyovest has proved that he hasn’t been coming to Ghana just for the sake of work but also learning the Twi language.
In a voice note Sarkodie shared on his Twitter page, the SA rapper was heard speaking Twi which Sarkodie called on Ghanaians to get him a Ghana passport because he qualifies to become one.
