Sammy Gyamfi and others sue Govt over mandatory Covid-19 vaccination

The Ghana Health Service, Ghana Airport Company, and the Government of Ghana have been sued by the NDC’s National Communication Officer, Sammy Gyamfi, and his members for making the Covid-19 vaccination mandatory.
According to Sammy Gyamfi, the Covid-19 vaccination mandatory policy is a breach of fundamental human rights as in the constitution.
They stated that “declaration that the impugned directives of the Respondents violated Section 2(1) of the Imposition of Restrictions Act, 2020 (ACT 1012) and Sections 21, 22 and 30 of the Public Health Act, 2012 (ACT 851) and therefore illegal.”
They added that “that the impugned directives of the Respondents contravene the guidelines of the World Health Organization regarding proof of Covid-19 vaccination for international travelers, and that same is unreasonable,”
