Police Declares Takoradi Kidnapped Pregnant Woman, A Suspect
Ghana Police has declared the missing pregnant woman Josephine Panyin Mensah found in Axim, a suspect.
The police said there is an ongoing investigation to get to the root of the matter.
According to Ghana police, the pregnant missing woman has been discovered in their prelude investigation. The police say they suspect a conspiracy between Josephine and other persons to generate a “self kidnapping” situation.

The police say the pregnant woman’s reappearing and their investigation so far, they will like to say this:
“a. The police said they heavily rely on a medical practitioner who examines her and the results say Josephine was never pregnant following more examination by Medical doctors of Axim Government hospital.
“b. the victim, now a suspect, during an interrogation she mentioned European Hospital in Takoradi as her antenatal reviews and assessment. The medical records at the European hospital show that the victim, now suspects, visited the hospital last year without any pregnancy in October.
“c. Investigation suggests that the victim allegedly conspired with other persons to create her disappearance.
“d. The police revealed that three people have so far been arrested for interrogation over possible conspiracy charges.

“e. The police will like to inform the public that adequate measures are in place for her safeness while the investigation continues.
