Mobile money Agents have suspended the strike they decided to embark on over the E-levy on Thursday, December 23, 2021.
The Mobile Money Association of Ghana released a press that they will engage in a sit-down strike over the E-levy.
According to Association, the 1.75% E-levy imposed on electronic transactions will collapse their business.
Recently, the association has released a statement that the strike has been suspended after the ministry of communication and National Communication Authority accepted their proposal.
The General Secretary of MMAAG, Evans Otumfuo declared to GHOne business that the ministry of communication and national communication authority sent a delegation to discuss their grievances with them.
He added that their discussion will be used to inform the kind of arrangement the government will make concerning the welfare of the association members and their businesses
