Lady Sentenced After Bathing Her Ex-lover’s Girlfriend With Acid

The Bole District Magistrate Court has Sentenced Hannah Bayiri to 24 months imprisonment and a charge of GH¢ 4,000 for pouring acid on her ex-lover’s girlfriend

His Worship, Edward Essel who presided over the Bola District Magistrate Court sentenced this woman who has poured acid on her ex- lover’s girlfriend to 24 months imprisonment

Mrs. Hannah was charged with a fine of 200 penalty units so she agrees to pay the GH¢ 4,000 so that they will use it to take care of the victim

Mrs. Hannah spotted another woman enjoying with her ex-boyfriend so she chased the woman and poured acid on her in the presence of her friends

The victim identified as Rashida Ibrahim was in an argument with Hannah Bayiri which resulted in a fight

Hannah Bayiri got angered and pour acid in a small bottle on the victim’s skin which she was immediately rushed to Bola hospital
