Kemi Afolabi, a Nollywood actress, has resorted to social media to voice her grave fears about the country’s safety.
Recently, the actress was ambushed by bandits in Lagos traffic, and she voiced concern that even her home may not be secure.
Afolabi further said that she is fearful of additional horrific deaths occurring in other parts of the nation.
A few weeks after being robbed by armed men in Lagos traffic, famous actress Kemi Afolabi has raised concerns about the country’s security situation.
The filmmaker said on her Instagram page that she has been confined to her house due to her fear of dangerous streets and highways.
She bemoaned the country’s insecurity, with individuals being abducted and murdered as if it were a sport.
Afolabi also cited cases in which individuals have lost their lives as a result of their parents’ or lovers’ desire to get wealth quickly.
“Locked up @home. Deadly streets, dangerous roads wouldn’t let me come out. Is my home even safe? Insecurity in Nigeria has gone totally out of control!!! Bandits shooting at people randomly, adopting and kidnapping.”
