Joey Papking Hits No. 7 With His Eastside EP On Ghana iTunes Top Albums
Joey Papking’s debut EP, Eastside, has clinched the No. 7 spot on the Ghana iTunes Top Albums one week after its release. The Eastside EP which was released on November 6, 2021, is also the second Ghanaian hip hop compilation on the iTunes chart.
The chart has albums and Eps by various artists from Ghana and the diaspora. Some of the albums on the list are Highest by Sarkodie, Damn by Kendrick Lamar, More Life by Drake and KOD by J Cole.
The Eastside EP has a list of six songs featuring Ghana’s rapper, Medikal, Camidoh, and some other artists in Ghana. Listen to the EP below.
Joey Papking born Frimpong Ofori Precious is a Ghanaian rapper who hails from Akim Oda in the Eastern region of Ghana. He blends Twi with English to produce afrobeat, hip hop, and trap music and is also signed to Jas Muzik’s record label. He was born on 10th April, to Mr. William Boahene and Mrs. Cynthia Frimpong all of the blessed memories. He attained his WASSCE certificate from Osei Tutu Senior High School in Kumasi and B.E.C.E from Joduro Integrated in Akim Oda.
