How Much Does Your Lunch Cost, Madam? – Manasseh Slams Ursula Over E-levy Comment
Ghanaian freelance journalist Manasseh Azure Awuni popularly known as Manasseh Azure has slammed the Minister of Communications and Digitalization Ursula Owusu-Ekuful over her recent comment on the new E-levy that will be placed on electronic transactions
During the presentation of the 2022 budget, the Minister of Finance introduced the new E-levy that will be placed on electronic transactions
In supporting the Finance Minister Mrs. Ursula Owusu-Ekuful who is the Minister of Communications and Digitalization also disclosed that “if you can send GH¢ 100 to someone via mobile money then you are not, you should be taxed”
In the new development, Journalist Manasseh has also come out with a post asking the Minister of Communications how much does her lunch cost
Mr. Manasseh wrote in a Facebook post on November 19, 2021, that “So, you’re saying if someone can send 100 cedis (17 dollars) a day via momo, then that person is not poor? How much does your lunch cost, madam?”
