Ghana High Commissioner To UK Shock As Stonebwoy Revealed How Much He Got From GHAMRO As His Royalties
Award-Winning Ghanaian Dancehall artiste, Stonebwoy has revealed how GHAMRO only gave him 2000GHC as his royalty for his music.
The music rights organization GHAMRO was entrenched under section 49 of the Copyright Law of Ghana Act 690 of 2005 and controlled under L.l 1962 of 2010 to accumulate and shared royalties for composers and other owners of music creative owners.

Its work like other copyright bodies like CHAMRO, a non-profitable corporate body (restricted by guarantee), and therefore all money collected is shared among the right owners whose works have been used and they include composers, authors, and producers It appears Stonebwoy did not receive the right portion of all his works in Ghana.
The high commission to the UK papa Owusu Ankomah was shocked and surprise about what he got from all his hard work.
