Ghanaian gospel musician Diana Antwi Hamilton shared her idea on the E-levy which has become a controversial issue in Ghana.
According to the Finance Minister, a 1.75 charge will be placed on electronic transactions which have raised lots of allegations in the country.
Diana Hamilton was interviewed on Hitz FM and she voiced out that she has little knowledge about the E-levy but she hopes it will favor Ghanaians.
She said, “I have heard people talk about it, but I don’t know much about it. I know they want to charge mobile money transactions. I think it is a topic for discussion at the moment and that the is a lot of debate going on”.
“I pray that the will of Ghanaians is what will work. The final decision that will be taken will favor the Ghanaian. That’s what I have to say”
