Countryman Songo, a Ghanaian sports journalist, has expressed his wrath on Ghana’s football regulatory body.
According to a Ghanaian sports pundit and critic, the Black Stars’ poor performance is a result of the Ghana Football Association’s leadership’s self-centred interests, which always field their players for personal gain.
With only two points from their first three group matches, the present Black Stars lineup in Cameroon for the 2021 AFCON looks to confirm Countryman Songo’s assessment that the team is in turmoil.
In a video released on social media by the journalist, Songo went after the GFA’s leaders, pleading with them to resign.
He used anonymous words against them to communicate his pain following Comoros Island’s AFCON debut, in which the Islanders pierced Ghanaians’ hearts with a 3-2 defeat.

Prior to their match against Ghana, the Comoros Islands had never won an AFCON match, but they had everything to celebrate after defeating Ghana 3-2 in regulation time.
