“Commit a crime and see if the laws doesn’t work” – Kwaw Kese
Ghanaian hiplife artiste Emmanuel Kofi Botwe, widely known as Kwaw Kese has advised Ghanaians who think that the law doesn’t work properly in Ghana.
According to the musician, those who think the law doesn’t function in the country should boldly commit a crime and experience the outcome when arrested.
He voiced out that, people who have been arrested and jailed can confirm how the law can handle offenders
Kwaw Kese was interviewed on Cape Coast’s Kastle FM and revealed how he was sentenced to a day’s imprisonment with a charge of GH¢ 1,200 for engaging in marijuana activities in 2015.
He said: “Most people criticize government agencies and they always claim that those institutions aren’t working. So when you offend and those agencies get hold of you that’s where you’d realize that the laws actually work. People might think that the law doesn’t work because they always hear people taking bribes among other things. So this thing should serve as a deterrent for us to be disciplined and do things right, what you know it’s bad don’t do it,” he stated
