Member of Parliament for Atwima Nwabiagya South Constituency Emmanuel Anhwere caution Ghanaians to be careful on how they deal with public office holders over fatuous claims vented against them.
The MP’s constituency falls under Chief Justice home town Toase as he said destroying people’s personalities with baseless info or evidence must not be tolerated.
All his comment connects to the various groundless claims leveled against Chief Justice Kwasi Anim Yeboah by Lawyer Mr. Kwasi Africa and as stated by the Mp, Ghanaian has taken hook and sinker.
ASEPA later requested the presidency to make him step aside for some time whiles the matter is being probed but the presidency perceives the petition as groundless and thereafter dissolves it.
Emmanuel Agyei Anhwere trusts that such claims will discourage good people from accepting appointments shortly.
In his short write-up, he questioned why should people decide to destroy such an honest man image base on rumors which have been dissolved. We should be careful how we treat public officeholders. We may be putting off people from taking up public office and it only sends the nation back And makes it poorer.
The legislator’s body believes that the Chief Justice is an honest man and will be loved to see him continue his work as Chief Justice in moving Ghana forward.
He also added that he prays that all the assertions will not put him away from doing his job very well and advised him to keep his head up and remember the great piece from a philosopher, Socrates
