Popular media personality, Bridget Otoo has disclosed how armed robbers stormed her shop and made away the cash from their morning sales.
She indicated that the robbers were holding guns as they pulled them on her shop attendants and robbed them an amount of Ghc 500 and whisked them away on a motorbike.
The news anchor took to the microblogging site, Twitter as she stated that she received a distress call from her shop attendant who was traumatized by the robbery.
In a series of tweets, she waded into how the incident happened as she narrated that the screams of her shop attendant saved other shops from the robbery.
In her words, “Two guys on a bike fired two warning shots and pulled the gun on my shop attendant and took the morning’s cash sales of 500 cedis. She’s safe but visibly shaken.
I don’t know what I would have told her parents if something had happened to her. he armed robbers wanted to rob all the shops on that stretch but my girl shouted and that scared them, her scream saved the other shops who ran to save their lives.”
She added, “Eiii God, what was I going to tell her mum and Dad? I just can’t stop asking myself this question!!”
