Afia Schwarzenegger, a Ghanaian socialite, has vowed to sue the Ghana Army if they do not produce the guy she slapped at her father’s burial.
In a video that went viral at her father’s burial in Kumasi, the Ghanaian social media pundit slapped a 34-year-old guy. The video went viral a day after the much-talked-about funeral, which drew a large crowd of friends and celebrities.
In one of the videos that have appeared on social media, the actress is seen slapping a young guy, which netizens believe was in response to his attempting to pick up the money showered on her at the funeral.
She claims she hit the guy, because he attacked her sister in order to collect money that was being sprayed on them during the burial.
As previously reported, the purported victim of Afia Schwarzenegger’s’slap’ provided an interview to recount the incident.
The victim stated in his story that he was an instrumentalist with the military band that played at the burial – a revelation that prompted Miss Schwar to issue a legal threat.
Afia feels the guy is a fraud since she did not engage a civilian band to play at her father’s funeral.
“He admitted in his interview that he isn’t a soldier. I also employed the military band. So what’s your business there if you’re not a soldier? Civilians don’t play for the military band. I went to 4bn to employ the services of the Ghana armed forces,” she said.
Speaking on UTV as a guest host of the United Showbiz show, she continues that “W/O Agyepong has said not once, twice or three times that they don’t know the man. We had a security briefing before the event which was on Friday but in his interview, he said he started playing the band and picking the monies from Friday. There was no show on Friday“.
“There was no wake and the band did not even set up. On that Friday, there was a security briefing with the Police, Military and the KNUST security of which all these things were discussed.
“It was agreed that if the band is playing and monies are being sprayed without me dancing, they can keep it. If I’m the one dancing, everyone present can pick some of the money. Now you a total stranger, go on to pick monies. I have lodged a complaint at the military police against him and if he is not arrested, I will take the military band to court,” she said.
